Mainstrain?
Someone is not getting invited to Knizia’s Christmas party this year.
The other games in the series are confirmed (in my head) as:
- Blue: a tile-laying game in the style of Tantrix, only all the lines are blue, there are 15000 tiles and the game ends when the whole lot are conjoined in a vast Matisse-like mural of the Teutonic Tabletop-tickler; and,
- A La Turk: A re-theming of Lost Cities’ SdJ winning re-working Keltis’s dice-based variant’s 2 player card game’s expanded Euro-style board game in the manner of Tigris & Euphrates only about 3000 years on from that. Or something.
Together, the trilogy can be combined to make the Metagame “Karioka” – where players can get out of their lazy beds (are you listening RK?), stop buying this type of game and go and make fools of themselves in seedy bars instead.
Okay, Alspach’s back on the Christmas party list and Tony Boydell gets bounced instead! :-)
