Puzzle: Sherlock Holmes’ Game Collection

Sherlock Holmes was sitting in his library, perusing his game collection with his constant companion, Dr. Watson. As they were choosing which game to play next, Watson turned to Holmes and asked why there were five games kept together on the highest shelf, far away from the others. Holmes replied, “Those games are kept together because they have something in common…”  Watson looked at the games and carefully read their names:

  • 1914: Twilight in the East
  • Advanced Squad Leader
  • Cargo Noir
  • Dudley Dodo’s Environment Game
  • Playoff One-on-One Hockey Challenge

So, what do they have in common?

Please do not post your answer in the comments below so that everyone has a chance at solving it! We’ll post the answers in a week or so here on the blog.  If you think you have it solved and want confirmation, email your solution to opinionatedgamersblog at gmail dot com!
