Knock down barns was the first game played Sunday (I stayed up pretty late)
A game I’m happy that Adam owns but that I got to play here. You build a wood tower and then try to knock it down with foam marshmallows.
Then time for a little sleep before doing it all again.
A few clarifications before I get going on Sunday.
1) time stories is my favorite CO-OP ever. Not favorite ever
2) doubt spaghetti and meatballs, but you never know
3) North Wind is the EN name for Norderwind. A game published by Kosmos, designed by Klaus Teuber.
4) whether you like it or not, you get pictures of my food. My kids like those pictures.

I played Chimera yesterday, and it’s a game I would consider when we want to play tichu but only have 3 players.
In order to promote it, ZMan is running a contest. You enter for turning in a scoresheet for each game. Thus, the more you play, the more chances you have to win.
The first game after my nap is Faulpelz.
On your turn, play a card. Draw a matching tile from the outside of the display and then take an additional tile that is orthogonal.
At the end. You score points for an animal if you have a number of icons equal to the number on that sort of tile.
Birds are wild. But there are no bird cards, so you can only draw that tile as an adjacent.
Next. One more light game before I have to bring my brother back to the airport.
Camel Cup or Camel Up. There seems to be some disagreement about what the name is. I have heard both.
It’s a racing game with some betting along the way. It’s cute, and it has a nifty dice pyramid to randomize which color die comes out.
We played with 5,and it was pretty random. I watched a game with 7 and there was a French amount of randomness, though plenty of laughing.
Lunch is my favorite sub place in Niagara. Honestly, I’m not sure if it is really the best, but I’m familiar with it, it is always tasty, and I can eat for under $10. As far as the fine cuisine goes around here, that is as positive a review as you can hope for.
Back to the ballroom soon for more.
I like food pics. I would think food is an important part of your experience. It seems like the games being played there are on the lighter side. I have yet to see something from the OP coverage that interests me.
Well, I’m only showing what I’m playing. I am admittedly playing lighter stuff, other than time stories, but that’s also representative of the new games here. I am trying to play as many (published) games that are new to me.
While I no longer strictly avoid unpublished prototypes, I still try to play published stuff.
Helios is thinky.
I plan to walk around today to see what else new is here
