  1. Busen Memo? Really?

    Well done, sir!

I’m amazed that you fit all of that in your luggage… you are the undisputed master of packing games…

  4. Normally, after any Essen, I would claim that Dale picked up the cream of the crop. This Essen was so good though I believe I picked up 30 different games to the ones shown that are of equal quality!

Aaron – I agree with you. There are a whole bunch of good games this year, and I’ll admit that some of my selection was influenced by: 1) which games I can get domestically by the end of the year anyways, 2) which games were being shipped to me (i.e. Pandemic Legacy, Skyliners, etc from Z-Man as well as a few Asmodee titles should arrive later this week). I have also received the three new Tasty Minstrel Games and a boatload of the great games from Taiwan at earlier points in the fall. As such, those games didn’t make it in the picture

That is quite the hall, and thrills me to hear this years Essen was awesome x2

There were a bunch of good games this year (IMO). But, were there any ‘great’ ones that we’ll still be talking about and playing regularly in 3-4 years (Pandemic Legacy? 7 Wonders Duel? others?)

Wow, 504 is in a big box.

Antarctica is the game that intrigues me most this year.
