2026 IGA Nominations Announced

The International Gamers Awards (IGA) have announced their nominated games for 2026.  The IGA nominates games in three categories:  Best Multiplayer Experience, Best Two-Player Experience, and Best Solo Experience.  Here are the nominated games in each category, along with their designers and publishers:

Multiplayer

  • LotR: Fate of the Fellowship (Matt Leacock) – Z-Man Games
  • Luthier (Dave Beck, Abe Burson) – Paverson Games
  • Nippon: Zaibatsu (Nuno Sentieiro, Paulo Soledade) – CrowD Games
  • Railway Boom (Hisashi Hayashi) – Arclight Games
  • Recall (Kristian Ostby, Helge Meissner, Anna Wermlund, Kjetil Svendsen) – Alion
  • Sanctuary (Mathias Wigge) – Feuerland Spiele
  • Take Time (Alexi Piovesan, Julien Prothiere) – Libellud
  • The Druids of Edora (Stefan Feld) – alea
  • World Order (Vangelis Bagiartakis, Varnavas Timotheou) – Hegemonic Project Games

2-Player

  • Duel for Cardia (Faouzi Boughida, Mathieu Rivero) – Hans im Gluck
  • Moytura (Trevor Benjamin, David Thompson) – Bitewing Games
  • Star Wars: Battle of Hoth (Richard Borg, Adrien Martinot) – Days of Wonder
  • Tag Team (Corentin Lebrat, Gricha German) – Scorpion Masque
  • The White Castle Duel (Israel Cendrero, Sheila Santos) – Devir
  • Vantage (Jamey Stegmaier) – Stonemaier Games

Solo

  • Ace of Spades (Benjamin Amorin) – Devir
  • Hercules and the 12 Labors (Tyler Brown) – Envy Born Games
  • LotR: Fate of the Fellowship (Matt Leacock) – Z-Man Games
  • Vantage (Jamey Stegmaier) – Stonemaier Games

In addition, the IGA recommends the following two games:

  • (Multiplayer) LotR: The Two Towers Trick-Taking Game (Bryan Bornmueller) – Office Dog
  • (2-Player) Toy Battle (Paolo Mori) – Repos
