Gen Con 2023 – Tiger & Dragon

Despite the tiny size of their game boxes, Oink Games usually had a rather large crowd pressing around to see and buy their cute little games. Tiny at any other booth, Tiger & Dragon was a “larger” box containing a 2-5 player game of shifting scoring bonuses.

Gen Con 2023 – Pandasaurus

Definitely a company to watch, I’ve been keeping an eye on Pandasaurus for some time. There were several games featured including one of my most anticipated games, The Fox Experiment. I got the low-down on Unrest and After Us but Emerge, Sea Salt and Paper, and Roller Coaster Rush were all on display in the booth.

Gen Con 2023 – Mattel

UNO Mattel had a booth full of card games at the convention. Sure, there was a Pictionary Air going on alongside the party game If You Were, but otherwise there was UNO Quatro, UNO Ultimate DC, UNO House Rules, and UNO Flex!. (Yes, several of those are older titles but we’ll lump them into this report anyway.)

Gen Con 2023 – Wizkids

Wizkids line of miniatures always sets a great stage for their booth (more on those later with the RPGs) but their minis expertise also means their games like Dungeons & Dragons: Trials of Tempus attract a crowd. Others on display include the classic Princes of Florence, medium-weight Rebuilding Seattle, and co-op Star Trek Discovery – Black Alert., and the party co-op Blob Party.

Gen Con 2023 – Diced Veggies

The immense Lorcana wave of early Thursday morning kept me from my appointment but it serendipitously had me stalled out next to the KTBG (Kids Table Board Gaming) booth. They were showing off a nice little 2-4 player kids game with LITERALLY a cut-and-choose mechanic.
