From time to time, I do try to make some posts highlighting some great deals on boardgames. That being said, there are a lot of games on sale right now – and maybe you will find a great deal on a new addition to your game collection! I’ll highlight ten games that I have found on sale today.

Try out the newest release in the Catan family – one which focuses on the environmental impact of settlement. We did a full review a while back.

This is one of the classic word party games, but now in an electronic form! I think this one has been around for quite awhile, and IIRC, the Opinionated Gamers have a grand tradition of playing this one together at conventions. I think it is one of Alison’s favorite games :)
Hansa Teutonica Big Box – https://amzn.to/3Y04dHO – $42.50
This is the re-release from last year with all of the base game and expansions in a single box. If you’re not familiar with this classic, we did a review when it first came out.
Mycelia – https://amzn.to/3DFmbbS – $27.99
This is the mushroom themed deckbuilder that debuted at Spiel 2024. It’s a good entry level game for people new to deck building. A full review can be read here.
Ubongo to Go! – https://amzn.to/3Rs5cg5 – $10.49
Kosmos has a number of solo puzzle games in the mitbringspiel format – and this one has you placing polyominos to fit a specific shape in each challenge. We haven’t reviewed this, but here is a review of the base game so you can get an idea of Ubongo.

Here is another solo puzzler from Kosmos. They are great for road trips!
Trekking the World – https://amzn.to/43XfgFq – $39.99
In this game, take a tour in any of 48 magical destinations. We spent hundreds of hours researching and selecting them, and then worked with fine artists to capture their magic and guarantee a beautiful experience. Read our full preview here.
Heroscape – The Grove Terrain Pack – https://amzn.to/3E5JhIB – $33.10
Well, for those of you who love Heroscape – you can never have enough terrain, amirite? Also, what about those huge trees. Use the bits here to make the Jungle scenario of your dreams. Read all about Mark’s love of the series here and here.
Exit The Game – Theft on the Mississippi – https://amzn.to/4kZWdAB – $12.49
The Exit the Game series is one of the most prolific escape room type games. You can only play them once, so it’s always nice to get them on sale! You can read our non-spoilery review here.
Star Wars UNLOCK – https://amzn.to/4iKLLvg – $30.94
UNLOCK is one of the other major escape room type franchises. The cost here is a bit higher than the EXIT above, but you do get three scenarios in this box. All have a strong Star Wars theme, though you don’t need to be familiar with the iconic movie series to still enjoy them. A non-spoiler review can be read here.
